"DryArm" Waterproofing System (tm), 1911A1, PT-145
Test Question:
To determine if vacuum sealing of "arms" in a "DryArm" pouch could
withstand the abusive handling
of a diver subjected to hypothermic conditions, while still maintaining
water tight integrity.
Test Protocol:
(1) Place diver on field expedient life support equipment,
(2) Immerse diver in Cold water tank,
(3) Issue "DryArm" to diver, with instructions not to loose it,
(4) Observe subject until visible shivering occurs, or subject looses "DryArm",
(5) Retrieve "DryArm" and diver,
(6) Examine "DryArm" for signs of violation of water tight integrity.
Step (3), Start of testing.
